Blaine County Municipal Code

[BCMC] Blaine County Municipal Code applies to all areas within Blaine County.

BCMC Municipal Code 1 - Offroading

This law prohibits driving any motor vehicle (non-ATV/ORV) in the following areas unless they are on a designated public roadway (except emergency services and police patrols):

• Mount Chiliad Walking Trails
• Paleto Forest
• Mount Gordo Walking Trails
• Paleto Bay Beach
• Alamo Sea beach
• Within 30 feet of any rail track
• Lago Zancudo
• Within 30 feet of any Oil Derrick
• Within 50 feet of any airfield
• Within 200 feet of the Bolingbroke State Penitentiary
• Senora National Park

Exception: Law does not apply when the vehicle is on a paved or dirt road.

BCMC Municipal Code 2 - Loose Animals Law

No horse, cow, mule, hog, goat, sheep, chicken, turkey or similar domestic fowl or livestock, shall be at large in the streets or upon premises not under the animal owner's or caretaker's care or control.

BCMC Municipal Code 3 - No Wake Zone

Any waters within 25 feet of shore are hereby considered a "no wake zone" and restrict the speed of vessels to no more than 10 nautical miles per hour. Applies to the following areas:

• Alamo Sea
• Raton Canyon River
• Zancudo River
