[7] 19 - Trafficking
Engaging in the transportation distribution or movement of illegal goods contraband or controlled items within the state in quantities indicative of intent to distribute rather than personal use. This charge applies to items such as drugs controlled substances firearms ammunition explosives alcohol or other regulated materials. This charge does not apply to the transportation of persons which is governed under Human Trafficking or Smuggling laws. A person commits trafficking when the quantity of contraband possessed transported or distributed meets or exceeds any ONE of the following:
- 25 pounds of drugs controlled substances narcotics or tobacco products
- 25 gallons of alcohol products
- 25 firearms
- 25 firearm magazines or clips
- 250 rounds of ammunition
- 5 pounds of explosives
OR when the total quantity meets or exceeds any TWO of the following:
- 15 pounds of drugs controlled substances narcotics or tobacco products
- 15 gallons of alcohol products
- 15 firearms
- 15 firearm magazines or clips
- 100 rounds of ammunition
- 3 pounds of explosives

This charge is not the same as \11] 5 - Smuggling. Smuggling is for crossing the border. This law is if the offence occurs within the nation with no direct evidence of a border crossing occurring.
