Spam Connecting

Spam connecting—repeatedly attempting to join the server immediately after being disconnected or during high-traffic periods—is a violation that disrupts the stability of the server infrastructure and affects the experience of all players.

The Impact on Server Stability

  • Infrastructure Strain: Repeated, rapid reconnection attempts create unnecessary load on the server’s authentication and database systems. During periods of instability, this can prevent the server from recovering properly and delay the reconnection process for everyone.
  • Queue Management: The server uses an orderly queue system to manage player capacity. Attempting to "force" your way back in by repeatedly spamming the connect button bypasses the fairness of the queue and often triggers rate-limiting, which can lead to further connectivity errors for your account.

Expectations for Connectivity

  • Patience: If you are disconnected due to a server restart, crash, or network fluctuation, wait a reasonable amount of time (at least 60 seconds) before attempting to reconnect.
  • Follow System Prompts: If the server is full or undergoing maintenance, do not attempt to bypass the queue. Respect the system’s status updates; they are there to ensure the server remains stable for active players.
  • Troubleshooting: If you are experiencing frequent disconnects, do not simply keep spamming the connect button. Investigate your own internet connection, ensure your game client is up to date, and check our community Discord or status page for announcements regarding server health.

Prohibited Behaviors

  • Automated Reconnection: Using external scripts, macros, or "auto-connect" software to spam the server join button is strictly prohibited. These tools are often detected by our security systems and can lead to an automatic and permanent ban.
  • Queue Flooding: Coordinated efforts by groups of players to spam connect simultaneously to "test" the server or overwhelm the queue are considered malicious activity and will result in sanctions for everyone involved.
  • Harassment via Reconnection: Attempting to use the reconnection process as a way to "stream snipe" or follow a specific player into a scene by monitoring their status is a form of metagaming and will be treated as such.
If you find yourself frequently disconnected, the best course of action is to wait for the server to stabilize and then perform a fresh launch of your game client. This clears out old session data and significantly improves your chances of a successful, stable connection.
Account Sanctions
Abuse of the connection process, especially through the use of automated tools, is viewed as an attack on server stability. Accounts found using these methods will be subject to immediate suspension or permanent removal to protect the integrity of the platform.
