[3] 3 - Illegal Passing

Passing another motor vehicle on/over/through a shoulder, intersection, median, or solid line. Passing must be completed without interfering with the safe operation of any approaching vehicle from the opposite direction. No vehicle is permitted to overtake more than two other motorists when safe to do so.

Overtaking or passing a stationary/stopped school bus which is displaying solid or flashing red lights, an extended stop-sign, and flashing orange/amber lights. Exception: On divided roadways that have a physical median, traffic on the opposite side from the bus does not need to stop.
