It is prohibited to stop, stand, wait, or park vehicles on railroad or tramway/light-rail tracks; including vehicles which are queued in traffic.

The area encompassed by the tracks/rails, level crossing arms/gates, and protective fencing around said tracks is encompassed by this law.

Vehicles may only stop on the rails in emergent situations or when authorized maintenance is being performed by engineers.
