The 911 system is the lifeline of the city. It is used to request emergency services—Police, EMS, and Fire—for genuine in-character emergencies. Misusing this system degrades the response time for players who are actually in danger and is treated with high priority by the moderation team.

  • Legitimate Emergencies Only: Use 911 only when your character is experiencing an emergency, has witnessed a crime, or is in immediate danger. This includes medical crises, active crimes in progress, or reporting suspicious activity.
  • Information Integrity: When calling 911, provide clear, concise, and accurate information. Include your location, the nature of the emergency, and any pertinent details (e.g., number of suspects, weapons involved, injuries sustained).
  • Do Not "Troll" or "Bait": Using 911 to lure emergency services into a trap, report fake crimes, or mock dispatchers/officers is strictly prohibited. This falls under FailRP and disrupts the server's emergency response loop.
  • Voice vs. Text: Follow the server’s specific guidelines on whether to use voice or text for 911 dispatches. If using text, ensure your grammar is clear so that dispatchers can relay accurate information to the units on the ground.
  • Discretion: Remember that not every interaction requires the police. Reporting minor, non-emergency grievances through 911 clutters the dispatch channels. Use the appropriate non-emergency channels if available.
Dispatchers and officers appreciate descriptive calls. Instead of saying "Help, help!" try: "911, I am at the intersection of [Street Name] and [Street Name]. There is an individual bleeding from a gunshot wound. No suspects in sight, but they appear to be in critical condition."
Abuse of Emergency Services
Intentionally tying up the 911 line with false reports or "spam" will lead to immediate administrative warnings. If you use the 911 system to orchestrate a crime (e.g., calling for an ambulance to a remote location to rob the medic), it will be classified as a severe rule break.
