Criminal Story
Criminal activities are a primary driver of conflict and narrative progression within our city. However, to ensure these scenarios remain engaging and immersive for all parties involved, they must be executed with a focus on storytelling rather than just profit or gear.
- Motivation: All criminal acts must have a clear, roleplayed motivation. Crimes should be the result of character needs, goals, or conflicts, not random occurrences.
- Narrative Escalation: Crimes should follow a logical path of escalation. Serious crimes, such as armed robberies or heists, require prior roleplay, gathering of intelligence, and planning.
- Fair Play: Criminals are expected to provide realistic opportunities for interaction and negotiation. Do not rush scenes or force outcomes that deny other players (including LEOs) a chance to respond.
- Consequences: If your character chooses a life of crime, they must accept the risks that come with it, including legal prosecution or life-altering IC injuries.
The most memorable criminal scenes are those where the interaction between criminals and LEOs is treated as a high-stakes conversation, not just a mechanical gunfight. Use your words to build tension before resorting to violence.
No "Speed-Running" Crime
Any attempt to perform high-stakes crimes immediately upon spawning or without any prior setup/narrative development is strictly prohibited. Engaging in repetitive, low-effort crime for personal gain without contributing to the story will be treated as FailRP.
