Interfering

Interfering, or "third-partying," occurs when a player inserts themselves into an ongoing roleplay scenario between two or more parties without a logical, character-driven reason. Our server prioritizes clean, concentrated scenes; unsolicited interference often turns high-quality roleplay into chaotic, unintelligible mess.

  • Respecting the Scene: If you stumble upon an active conflict (e.g., a robbery, a police stop, or an argument), your character should react realistically. Unless your character has a direct, established motive to intervene, such as protecting a friend or serving a specific role, you should maintain distance and allow the scene to play out naturally.
  • Logical Motivation: "I saw a shootout so I decided to join in" is not a valid reason. Your character needs a clear, pre-existing connection to the situation or the participants to justify becoming involved in a high-stakes scene.
  • Do Not Become a "Hero": Avoid the urge to intervene in situations simply because you want to "win" or influence the outcome. If you are not a party to the initial interaction, your involvement is likely considered disruptive.
  • Situational Awareness: If you see active police lights, weapon fire, or multiple individuals engaged in a heated roleplay scene, the best practice is to de-escalate and vacate the area.
Sometimes the best roleplay is being a witness. If you encounter a situation you are not part of, keep a safe distance and observe or report it ICly if appropriate. This adds flavor to the world without ruining the experience for those involved.
Disruption of RP
Deliberately interfering in an active scenario to sway the outcome, steal loot, or simply "join the action" will be treated as FailRP. Third-party interference that degrades the quality of an ongoing scene will result in immediate administrative action.
