Powergaming is the act of using game mechanics to perform actions that would be impossible or highly unrealistic in real life, or forcing an outcome onto another player without giving them a fair opportunity to respond through roleplay. We expect all interactions to be balanced, fair, and immersive.

  • Fair Opportunity: You must always provide other players with a reasonable chance to react to your actions. If you are attempting to rob, kidnap, or otherwise subdue someone, you must engage them in roleplay first.
  • Realistic Limitations: Your character is bound by human limitations. Performing "superhuman" feats, such as sprinting while carrying heavy weaponry, jumping off high cliffs without injury, or continuing to fight after sustaining realistic mortal wounds, is considered powergaming.
  • The "/me" System: Utilize /me and /do commands to describe actions and the state of your character. These commands should be used to facilitate roleplay, not to "guarantee" a successful outcome (e.g., typing /me kills the player is prohibited).
  • Mechanical Abuse: Using in-game menus, inventory systems, or glitches to bypass roleplay or gain an unfair advantage (such as hiding items in ways that cannot be reasonably searched) is strictly forbidden.
Always ask yourself: "If this were a scene in a movie, would my character's current action be believable?" If the answer is no, you are likely powergaming.
No Forced Outcomes
You cannot force a roleplay outcome on another player without their consent or a fair, interactive process. Forcing a player into a "win" or "lose" state via script commands or unrealistic actions will result in immediate intervention by staff.
